About Martin Tynan
I bring experience, credibility, and impact to your organisation. This comes from over 20 years as a Global HR Leader and Chief People Officer, helping technology companies grow across geographies and growth stages.
I’ve operated in various environments, from scale-up to IPO, from VC-backed to PE-owned, and held senior roles in organisations such as Amazon, Expedia and Cloudera. At Cloudera, I was part of the leadership team that scaled the business through a $2B IPO, a $4B merger with its No.2 competitor, and a $5.3B PE buyout.
Alongside this experience, I hold a research doctorate from the Maastricht School of Management. My thesis focused on organisational growth in scale-up environments. This blend of lived leadership, strategic insight, and rigorous research allows me to operate as both an expert and a facilitator.
